2011 CF Great Strides Walk

The following link is to a slide show on Flickr of one of the "teams" that participated in the 2011 CF Foundation Great Strides Walk.

This team's name was "Cheer for a Cure." It was organized by a girl who has CF. She got lots of her friends and family to come and do the walk, and she raised a fair bit of money for CF research.

Yes!

The website is finished and out of the way! At least for now. My paper was edited, and so it will be getting some much needed revisions shortly. I've finished some work that was put off for a while. So, all in all, I'd say it was a good month. Except for my blog getting messed up and me having to repost some material, but still. I'm glad to say that I have much less on my plate from now on.
Thanks to everyone for all your support, however nonexistent it was.

Website Issues

Has anybody here ever tried to create a website? It is hard. You have to, well make it, obviously, but then have to update it and expand it, and you are constrained by the complex limits of the site-building service you are currently using. You need to keep by the guidelines set for the site, as well.

I've had a couple problems with the last one the most.

I keep wanting to expand my website to branch out, I guess to other sub-topics. But really, a site on CF symptoms and prevention can't just go off on an analysis on genetic diseases in general. I'll just have to keep myself in check, I guess.

I recently finished the six page paper I needed to complete for this project, and I am editing it right now. I will post a link to it once I am finished making some changes. Thanks for the huge amount of blog views!

The Blog!

So! I'm starting this new blog to post on as I research the topic of Cystic Fibrosis Symptoms and Prevention. I'm a little apprehensive of the task ahead of me, as I have never written an actual research paper, or kept a blog for more than a week, much less make and consistently update a blog about me creating an essay of this scale.
